TEHRAN: An Iranian mother spared the life of her son’s convicted murderer with an emotional slap in the face as he awaited execution with the noose around his neck, a newspaper reported Thursday.
The dramatic climax followed a rare public campaign to save the life of Balal, who at 19 killed another young man, Abdollah Hosseinzadeh, in a street fight with a knife back in 2007.
Shargh newspaper said police officers led Balal to a public execution site in the northern city of Nowshahr as a large crowd gathering on Tuesday morning.
Samereh Alinejad, mother of the victim who lost another son in a motorbike accident four years ago, asked the crowd whether they know “how difficult it is to live in an empty house.”
Balal, black-hooded and standing on a chair before a makeshift gallows, had the noose around his neck when Alinejad approached.
She slapped him in the face and removed the rope from his neck assisted by her husband, Abdolghani Hosseinzadeh, a former professional footballer.
“I am a believer. I had a dream in which my son told me that he was at peace and in a good place... After that, all my relatives, even my mother, put pressure on me to pardon the killer,” Alinejad told Shargh.
“The murderer was crying, asking for forgiveness. I slapped him in the face. That slap helped to calm me down,” she said. “Now that I’ve forgiven him, I feel relieved.”
Balal said the “slap was the space between revenge and forgiveness.”
“I’ve asked my friends not to carry knives... I wish someone had slapped me in the face when I wanted to carry one,” Balal said in a television interview.
A high-profile campaign was launched by public figures including Adel Ferdosipour, a popular football commentator and TV show host, and former international footballer Ali Daei, appealed for the victim’s family to forgive the killer.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida: Parts of the world saw a rare celestial event on Tuesday when the Earth’s shadow fell across the moon, turning it orange.
The lunar eclipse unfolded over three hours beginning at about 2 a.m. EDT, when the moon began moving into Earth’s shadow. A little more than an hour later, the moon could be seen eclipsed and bathed in an orange, red or brown glow.
Depending on local weather conditions, the eclipse was visible across a swath of the United States.
Viewers from Florida to California and beyond went to viewing parties and social media and other websites to gawk and share photos of the so-called “blood moon.”
A small crowd of stargazers who gathered on a roadside north of Los Angeles saw a sliver of still-illuminated moon and a reddish shadow cast across the lunar orb.
Others who were not so lucky took to Twitter to complain about cloud cover in New Jersey and Pittsburgh. An image of rain-streaked windows under impenetrable Atlanta skies could be seen. In the Pacific Northwest city of Seattle the skies were equally overcast.
The eclipse also was visible from Australia, New Zealand and all of the Americas.
Precize coloring depends primarily on the amount of volcanic ash and other aerosols floating in the atmosphere, SpaceWeather.com reports.
The celestial show was over by over by 5:30 a.m. EDT (0930 GMT), NASA said on Twitter.
Eclipses occur two or three times per year when the sun, Earth and the full moon line up so that the moon passes through Earth’s shadow.
Tuesday’s eclipse will be the last full lunar eclipse visible from the United States until 2019, NASA said.

A number of public schools have applied the biometrics attendance system on students, in line with the Ministry of Education’s new regulation.
The new system electronically registers the attendance of students and in instances of absence or delay in attendance, parents are notified.
Several school principals have also installed cameras to monitor activity on school premises, amid efforts to boost safety and productivity. Experts and educationalists in the Kingdom have expressed satisfaction with the system and claim that such a measure should be implemented in private schools too.
“I strongly believe this measure is needed in private schools as well,” said Mukhtar Khan, executive director and education consultant at the World Center for Education Consultancy in Riyadh. “The new system is a much required form of supervision. Any institution works well when rules are implemented and ad333hered to correctly. If fingerprinting or cameras can assist in disciplining students, then it’s a welcome step.”
“Monitoring cameras are a need of the hour. For instance, speed cameras installed on roads have reduced accidents by 50 percent. I believe schools will report better discipline and productivity after they install monitoring devices. Students will be more disciplined and will learn to respect regulations,” said Khan.
“I’m all for the new fingerprinting system in schools as it will help parents and teachers keep track of children and prevent them from skipping school and instil a sense of discipline,” said Ambareed Sayed, academic coordinator at The City School International in Jeddah.
Lakshman Sockalingam, a lecturer with the English Language Institute at King Abdul Aziz University (KAU), said he wished to see the same system enforced in both government and private institutions to ensure uniformity across all schools in the Kingdom.

The Labor Ministry is studying new proposals to expand the Nitaqat system in its bid to reduce the number of foreign workers and their dependents and create more jobs for citizens with higher salaries.
The move includes restricting expats’ period of stay in the Kingdom to a maximum of eight years and discouraging them from bringing their families. An expat worker living in the Kingdom with his wife and two children will be considered as two foreign workers under the proposed system.
An expat worker living with his wife will accumulate 1.5 points and will incur a quarter of a point per child.
An expat receiving a salary of SR6,000 and more will be equivalent to 1.5 points in the new system, but professionals whose degrees have been attested by Saudi authorities will be exempted from the salary rule.
Many Saudis and expats have opposed the proposals, saying they would discourage foreign professionals from working in the Kingdom and leave a negative impact on businesses.
“The ministry has floated these proposals for discussion on its website. The move to discourage foreigners to bring their families is not a good idea,” said Ibrahim Badawood, managing director of ALJ Community Initiatives.
Badawood said that the ministry’s plan to consider payment of an SR8,000 monthly salary to a Saudi worker as equal to employing two Saudis could be applied after taking into consideration the worker’s performance and productivity.
“Paying a high salary to a well-trained and hard-working Saudi will be a wise decision to keep him in the company and win his loyalty,” he told Arab News.
Rafeek Younus, vice president and managing director of Saihati Group, said the ministry should avoid decisions that would send a wrong message to businesses and investors.
“The new labor regulations have already affected the profitability of businesses,” he told Arab News. He said the new rules and proposals would discourage Saudis from opening small and medium-sized enterprises.
A draft law published on the ministry’s portal, “Together,” said a Saudi worker who earns SR4,000 will account for a full national employee, while those who receive SR2,000 will be treated as half a national employee in the Nitaqat system. A Saudi who receives SR8,000 or more will be counted as two national workers in the system.
Explaining the proposal that restricts the stay of foreign workers, the ministry said an expat who completed four years in the lunar calendar will count for 1.5 points in the Nitaqat system and that this will be calculated from the fifth year after receiving the work permit issued by the ministry.
Those who have completed five years will earn two points, while those working for six years will earn two-and-a-half points and those who have completed seven years will earn three points at the start of eighth year after receiving their work permits. According to Article Four of the new law, three points are the maximum a foreign worker can earn. The law will not apply to nationals who cannot be deported from the country, like Palestinians.
The new law was proposed in the wake of a study that showed unskilled workers staying more years (an average of 7.7 years) than other workers, while expats generally spend an average of 6.9 years.
In a related development, the ministry said it is studying prospects of including part-time Saudi employees and summer-time student trainees in private firms within the Nitaqat system, adding that it would boost the nationalization of jobs.

If the overall look and feel of iOS 7 hasn’t changed much since Apple first demo’d it on stage during WWDC, the mobile operating system has been constantly improved on with the usual “bug fixes and stability enhancements,” but most importantly with new features.

Fuel at night or early morning:
It is better to buy or fill up your car or bike during early morning, when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks underground. .
The colder the ground, the more dense the fuel. When it gets warmer, petrol expands. So, buying in the afternoon or in the evening, your liter is not exactly a liter.

In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature play an important role. 1 degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

Fill fuel when half tank empty:
Another most important tip is to fill up when your tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank the less is the air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine.

Nozzle trigger should not be in the fast mode:
While filling petrol, the nozzle trigger should not be in the fast mode, instead it should be in the low stage to minimize the impacts of vapor and to have maximum economy of petrol.
If you see properly, you will find that the trigger has three stages-
Low, Medium, and High. Filling petrol at the faster rate means you have more gas with your liquid petrol.

Don''t fill petrol while tanker are unloading petrol:
It is important to notice this as when the tankers fill fuel at the fuel station all the dirt that is settled at the bottom gets disturbed and if you are fueling at the same time it can get into your vehicle tank along with fuel - it can affect your engine.

Proper Tyre pressure:
Tyre pressure must be checked once every two weeks. It helps to reduce the drag while driving thus increasing your mileage. There is a label in your car just when you open the driver seat which tells you the Tyre pressure.

Service vehicle regularly:
During car service, always get three things replaced - oil, oil filter air filter. If you can find a reliable mechanic then you can do it at low cost.

Replace spark plugs:
once every 5 years, you must replace the spark plugs, use a better quality spark plug not the ordinary one which comes with the stock car. It improves your fuel combustion thus giving more mileage and it improves your Air condition performance.

Clear of unwanted items from the car:
It is important that you remove all the unwanted items whenever you are starting to move around. Every extra kilo of weight will need additional fuel, decreasing the mileage.

An Indian home ministry former officer has disclosed that a member of the secret service team had accused incumbent governments of 'orchestrating' the terror attack on Parliament and the 26/11 carnage in Mumbai. The former Indian investigator Satish Verma said that India itself was behind attack on Parliament in Delhi and Mumbai terror attacks.

According to Indian media‚ the fake encounter case involving a senior officer Under-Secretary of Interior Ministry Ishrat Jahan has submitted an affidavit in the court stating that a member of CBI and SIC investigation team Satish Verma told him that in the terrorists attacks on Parliament in Delhi and Mumbai terror attacks were pre-planned.

A key government official, R V S Mani said that Satish Verma, until recently a part of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe team, told him that both the terror attacks were set up "with the objective of strengthening the counter-terror legislation (sic).

Mani has said that Verma narrated that the 13.12. 2001(attack on Parliament) was followed by Pota (Prevention of Terrorist Activities Act) and 26/11 2008 (terrorists' siege of Mumbai) was followed by amendment to the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).

The official said Verma levelled the damaging charge while debunking IB's inputs labelling the three killed with Ishrat in the June 2004 encounter as Lashkar terrorists.

When Times of India contacted Verma, he refused to comment. "I don't know what the complaint is, made when and to whom. Nor am I interested in knowing. I cannot speak to the media on such matters. Ask the CBI," said the Gujarat cadre IPS officer who after being relieved from the SIT is working as principal of the Junagadh Police Training College.

It may be recalled that India had accused Pakistan of its involvement in both of the attacks and started a propaganda campaign maligning Pakistan based organisations and its agencies for the attacks. Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab have already been hanged by Indian government in parliament and 26/11 cases, respectively.

How to Put an iPhone Into DFU Mode

DFU means Device Firmware Update. If a restore using Recovery Mode doesn't work you will want to use DFU Mode as a last resort. When placing your iPhone into DFU Mode it does not load the OS before attempting the restore

To put the iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps:

Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.


Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.


Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.


The iPhone screen will remain black like this:


NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!

They lost eight successive overseas Tests. They lost a home Test series. And now the ODI world champions have lost a home bilateral series for the first time in more than three years. They are in free fall, and continue to touch a newer nadir each time. The failure of the batsmen has been a common factor in all these reversals, and it was no different at Eden Gardens. Despite the bowlers taking ten wickets for 109 to keep Pakistan to 250, India crumbled without any fight, losing their top five batsmen before they had reached 100. The tail had collapsed before MS Dhoni could even think about improbables such as miracles.

Pakistan added to their record of being the only side, other than Australia, to inflict home ODI series defeats on India in the previous ten years. Dhoni was left battling alone, and again, he battled till the very end, refusing several singles with the last man Ishant Sharma and hitting the odd boundary, despite knowing that all of it was in vain, despite knowing that he was the only man in this line-up prepared to fight.

Jamshed scored his third century against India and his second in consecutive ODIs. Only four other Pakistan batsmen have scored more centuries against India. Pakistan won their third bilateral ODI series (two or more matches) in India. Their last series win came in 2005 when they won 4-2. They have also won each of their four matches against India in Kolkata. The 85-run victory margin is Pakistan's fifth-largest against India in ODIs in India. Only West Indies have beaten India in India by an 85-plus run margin more than once. While the aggregate first-wicket stand for both teams in the game was 183, the aggregate for the remaining nine wickets was just 232. This is the second-lowest aggregate for the second to tenth wickets in India-Pakistan matches (all partnerships broken). MS Dhoni's strike rate of 60.67 during his 54 is his lowest strike rate for a fifty-plus score in ODIs. His previous lowest was 65.90 during his 58 against Australia in Kochi in 2007.

Sehwag and Gambhir may have put on 42, but their partnership was full of plays-and-misses and inside edges eluding the stumps. And eight of those 42 runs came off two overthrows to the boundary, courtesy Hafeez.

The tall Mohammad Irfan continued to test India with his bounce, but Junaid's was the standout spell. Displaying superb control, Junaid beat the outside edge on numerous occasions, and also hit Sehwag on the pads a few times. It wasn't unusually good deliveries that got him his wickets, though it could be said he had persevered enough to earn some luck. Gambhir tried to drive a widish length ball, which moved in slightly for the batsman to play on. Kohli fell to an outstanding, leaping take by Kamran Akmal down the leg side.

There was nothing fortuitous about Sehwag's fall, Gul bending one back in sharply to strike the leaden-footed batsman in front of middle. The senior opener had had another poor outing, after averaging 21.70 in ODIs in 2012.

Yuvraj had a nervy stay as well, eventually edging an attempted pull off a Gul bouncer to the wicketkeeper. Raina had already been tested by the inevitable short balls, had escaped a run-out chance, and went stumped as he lunged to drive a Hafeez delivery.

The batsmen's meek capitulation meant the fightback from the bowlers, kickstarted by Ravindra Jadeja, was in vain. Pakistan had zoomed to 141 for 0 inside 24 overs before Jadeja, playing because Dhoni wanted an allrounder bowling instead of part-timers, broke the opening partnership by removing Hafeez, and later dismissed the centurion Nasir Jamshed and Kamran Akmal within three deliveries. Pakistan sputtered on a slightly uneven pitch, which seemed to get somewhat difficult for batting as the balls got older.

It all started with an ungainly sweep from Hafeez, who till then, had timed the ball beautifully in his fourth century stand with Jamshed in nine ODI innings. Suddenly, all momentum seemed to drain from the innings. Ishant gave nothing away, bowling a tight line from the other end. And things began to work for India.

In Jadeja's next over, Azhar Ali trotted out of his crease even as the bowler was appealing for lbw. MS Dhoni was alert enough to reach the ball and lob it back before Azhar could return. In the 35th over, just before the batting Powerplay was to be taken, fortune, and the sweep, struck for India. Younis Khan inside-edged Suresh Raina on to his pad, and was given leg-before. Pakistan were still strongly placed at 177 for 3, but after Misbah-ul-Haq departed lbw to R Ashwin in the first over of the batting Powerplay, they took just 26 off it.

Jamshed, struggling to time the ball now, still kept going. Jadeja was not done yet, though. First ball on his return in the 42nd over, he had Jamshed stranded way down the pitch for Dhoni to complete the stumping on the second attempt. Two balls later, he spun one away from Kamran Akmal for the thick-edged drive to fly to slip, a position Dhoni stuck to even at that late stage. Pakistan had soon lost ten wickets for 109 in 24.4 overs, scarcely believable numbers after their start.

Overcast Kolkata skies and his batsmen's capitulation in swinging Chennai conditions had made Dhoni ask Pakistan to bat. To his dismay, the promised, prodigious swing didn't show up. Dhoni's bowlers still managed to restrict Pakistan, but his batsmen proved thoroughly unreliable, for the umpteenth occasion in recent times.

Pakistan are deserved victors, with their top-class bowling unit outplaying India. Saeed Ajmal has been one of the top bowlers in all formats for several years now, Junaid Khan shows he is one of the most promising young quick bowlers in the world and Nasir Jamshed is providing the solidity Pakistan need at the top of the order. Even the usually poker-faced Dav Whatmore is overjoyed at the victory, gets a hug from Misbah before he sets off to shake hands with the rest of the Pakistan team. Dhoni: "I think the bowlers brought us back in the game, I think when we went in to bat, we lost too many wickets, last 30 overs we needed 180, the key is to have wickets in hand and we never were in a position. Virat has scored runs for us, but one of the top three needs to be with the middle-order, that will make it easy, not that they aren't trying, it happens. We have got the experience in the batting, it is about them coming back to form, overall we have to grow as a team, we are a good fielding side, but we have to bowl well and develop."

Misbah: "I think the team really played well, specially the way openers started, they gavea really, really good start and then the bowlers did the job. Nasir Jamshed is the Man of the Match: "I just enjoy my batting, last time I missed the Man of the Match but lucky this time they gave it to me. I just kept a cool mind, and Hafeez played a great innings. Pitch was little bit slow, and I just played according to the ball. It was dream to play in the ground."

Pay SR2,400 or lose expats, ministry tells violating firms

JEDDAH – Companies having a workforce of less than 50 percent of Saudi nationals risk losing their foreign workers if they fail to pay SR2,400 for each extra expatriate annually, Labor Ministry spokesman Hattab Al-Enezi told Saudi Gazette Sunday.

He, however, said that the amount, if not paid or paid only in part, will be carried forward to the next year. The money will be collected by the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), which will also provide financial support to companies employing Saudis.

The system, he said, is fair to the companies as they have to pay only SR200 monthly for each expatriate while they will get HRDF support for each Saudi they employ with the amount disbursed according to their classification. The Fund will pay amounts ranging from SR2,000 to SR4,000 based on the company’s classification – yellow, green, perfect.

This financial support for companies employing Saudis will last for four years, he added.

The Labor Ministry official said expatriates’ rights are also being taken care of under the new system, explaining that they can transfer their sponsorship to other companies without the permission of their employers.

The decision, he hoped, would reduce the discrepancy between salaries of Saudis and expatriates and also increase the level of nationalization in institutions and industries.

Mohammad Suwailih, a member of the Youth Businessmen Committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the decision will only add to the number of new businesses that are closing or leaving the market.

Before this decision small businesses were already struggling with time-consuming procedures that different government departments are asking them to abide by, he said. On top of that there are 11 payment procedures that new businesses have to fulfill, including renewal of iqama, visa, Zakah, social insurance fees.

The decision, Suwailih said, has placed all companies – established and startups – in one basket which was not fair.

The head of the Consumer Protection Association (CPA), Nasir Al-Tuwaim, said that they are already witnessing increase in prices, especially in the contracting sector. The price increases are justified by the companies as necessary to find ways to pay the new SR2,400 fee, he said. Al-Tuwaim criticized the ministry for arriving at this decision without consultations with them. “The ministry made this decision without consulting concerned bodies and also without doing any in-depth studies,” he added.

Al-Tuwaim called for the formation of a general authority for the protection of consumers from “pop-up decisions.” He countered criticism against CPA’s inaction to control prices and protecting consumers.

Changing your Profession in Saudi Arabia doesn’t mean to leave your existing job and do something else but it means to change the profession that is mentioned on your Work Permit or Iqama. Why do someone want to change it? because it has huge impact on benefits and facilities you get in Saudi Arabia being a foreign worker. Including ability to apply for a Family Visa for yourself.
To Change Profession mentioned in your work permit you got to fulfill some requirements and rules. As per Saudi Arabian Ministry of labor you must be doing a technical job and earning a good lively hood to support your family in the Kingdom. That’s why labors and general staff are not entitled to apply for a family visa.
If an expatriate want to call his family on resident visa he must belong to a professional or technical job and his/her work permit should also state that. Every expatriate in Saudi Arabia has an Iqama (Resident permit) which states his profession.
If an expatriate is living in Saudi Arabia and his profession is not eligible for applying for a family visa he got an option to change his profession in his/her work permit. This doesn’t mean he has to change his job, but this is just like a requirement in documents.

1. Prerequisites to Changing Profession in Saudi Arabia

Once you have done Documents attestation from Saudi Consulate in your home country, bring your documents in Saudi Arabia and attest again from following.

• Consulate of your home countery
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia (located in Jeddah or any other city called خارجیہ)

2. Submit an Application for Change of Profession

Your company / sponsor must issue a letter that you are an employee to them and doing same kind of work as per your qualification and degree and also you are intended to change your profession as per same work. Now translate your degree into Arabic from an approved Translation Center in Saudi Arabia.

Then Find a good General Service Agency/Agent. These agencies and agents have their offices at Jawazat Street in Jeddah and you can find by yourself in other cities. Discuss necessary details with them. They will tell their requirements and fees. Settle a suitable amount that is acceptable for both parties. Also make sure your new profession will be eligible for Applying a Family Visa, the best option to ask is nearest Istikdam Office (The department of Ministry of Labor which is responsible for issuing Family Visas to expatriates working Saudi Arabia.)

Once your profession is changed to a suitable profession you may apply for a family visa anytime. Further process is very simple that I will explain later.

How to Attest your Documents / Degree from Saudi Embassy - Pakistan

Suppose you are in Saudi Arabia and want to attest your degrees or documents from Saudi Embassy in Pakistan. Here is procedure to accomplish this mission

Requirements:

1.  Iqama Copy.
2.
     a.   Company Request Letter to Saudi Embassy (Pakistan) attested by Chamber of Commerce  + Foreign office in Saudi Arabia.
    b.  Company Request Letter to Saudi Cultural Office (Pakistan) attested by Chamber of Commerce  + Foreign office in Saudi Arabia. (Only for Degree, No Need for Diploma or Nikah Nama)
3.   NIC / CNIC.
4.   Passport copy with VISA Stamp stamped and signature from your Company administration only.
5.   Original Nikah Nama (Marriage Certificate), Degree/Diploma with Transcripts (Marks Details)
6.   Photo Copies of all your Nikah Nama,  Degrees / Certificates with Transcripts (minimum 5 sets).

1.    In case of Nikah Nama Please attest it from Magistrate of the Region where Nikah Nama was Registered

3.  Attestation from Foreign office.
4.  Verification from Saudi Cultural Office.
5.  Last step, now your documents are ready for Attestation from Saudi Embassy Pakistan.
6. After you received your attested documents from Pakistan, you have to go yourself to attest them  from Ministry of Foreign Office (MOFA) Saudi Arabia without any hesitation.

Who is he?:

The king of Saudi Arabia, formally known as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. (These are Mecca and Medina.) Abdullah is also prime minister and commander of the National Guard. He succeeded King Fahd upon his death in 2005, but had already been running most of the country's affairs since Fahd suffered a stroke in 1995.

Birthdate:

1924 in Riyadh, son of King Abdulaziz Al Saud. Has 36 brothers. Spent time living in the desert with Bedouins. Follows Salafi (Sunni fundamentalist) Islam.

Personal life:

It's estimated that the king has married about 30 women over his lifetime, though some say he keeps four or so wives at a time. It's also estimated that he has about 15 sons and 20 daughters. Abdullah breeds Arabian horses, and as an avid reader has established two libraries.

Politics:

King Abdullah has allowed miniscule freedoms in the traditionally repressive kingdom, such as supporting construction of the first Catholic Church in Saudi Arabia (for foreign workers) He's comfortable on the diplomatic/networking scene, enjoying a good relationship with U.S. leaders and becoming the first Saudi king to visit the Vatican.

On Terrorism:

Islamic radicals have never approved of the kingdom's close ties with the United States, but King Fahd's decision to let the U.S. use Saudi bases in the 1991 Gulf War particularly inflamed the Muslim world -- and Saudi native Osama bin Laden. Since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S., where 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi, Saudi Arabia has waged a high-profile campaign against terrorists in their country.

Future:

King Abdullah believes that Saudi Arabia should take greater strides in modern technological advancements, and has planned King Abdullah University of Science and Technology to open in 2009 with a $10 billion (U.S.) endowment. After Abdullah became king, women were allowed to run (and won) for the first time in an election (Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and he has expressed the desire for men and women to study side-by-side at his university. Reportedly, women will even be able to drive on campus. He has also called for global interfaith dialogue among monotheistic religions.
